Not a hotel or a lodge but a gracious home situated on 48 acres of private grounds. Edenhouse is, to quote a guest, "a true treasure in a remarkable land". Edenhouse accepts a maximum of 6 guests at a time and single party bookings will be accepted.
Guests enjoy spacious rooms with outstanding views and large private bathrooms. The landscaped gardens are large, and the property also has a sitting room, formal dining room, artists' studio, den and library. Breakfast is included in the tariff and guests can choose to eat at Edenhouse or at a fabulous café, two minutes away. Dinner, consisting of fresh produce (including organic), is also included plus fine local wines as well as pre-dinner drinks and canapés.

At the next roundabout follow "Collingwood/Westport Highway 6" to traffic lights and proceed straight ahead. Distance from the Airport in km: 10.6 km Turn right at a roundabout marked "Motueka/Collingwood Highway 60". 16.9 km Shortly after crossing "Appleby Bridge" turn left to "Moutere Highway". 30.0 km Pass through the small township of Upper Moutere 42.2 km Turn left into Edwards Road (the sign is on the right hand side of the road). 44.9 km Turn left into Waiwhero Road. 52.0 km There is a church straight ahead and turn left into Thorpe-Orinoco Road. 54.2 km The driveway to Edenhouse (no. 213) is on the left, shortly after passing "Briar Rose Cottage".
